Each 5-piece A5 fly rod offers high line-speed performance, convenience while traveling and a finish that rivals the high dollar fly rods of the world. We are coming out with all NEW Models for 2010. The action and perfromnace will be the same and we are adding a machined Nickel Silver Reeal Seat to accentuate this Award series. Low-profile, tapered, tip-over-butt ferrules ensure a “one-piece” feel when casting. IM7 (44 million modulus graphite) is strong and light, creating a series of rods that fish as well as they cast. The A5’s progressive action walks the fine line between long-casting power and up close presentation. Hardloy stripping guides with SIC (silicon carbon) rings provide years of smooth line gliding while casting and stripping. Lightweight hard chrome snakes are all but bullet proof. Our freshwater A5 models sport a natural grain mahogany wood insert with anodized, up-locking fittings. The saltwater A5 models incorporate an anodized double up-locking reel seat and fighting butt for those epic fish battles. Whether chasing small trout in brush-lined creeks or stalking hard-fighting saltwater bruisers, we’ve got an A5 rod model for you. Each rod comes with a Cordura-covered hard case and rod sock for added protection.
