The light tip action flexes quickly into the rod’s midsection to protect lighter tippets on big fish. High line speed and line control are an added performance bonus. 24 ton graphite fibers are laid up on a fine glass scrim, offering up a lightweight but durable fly rod. Hard chromed guides and high-strength, ceramic-core aluminum stripping guides are anodized for smooth line transfer and years of use against the harshest of elements. Our up-locking high-density polymer reel seats utilize anodized aluminum fittings, securing your fly reel and ensuring years of use. These great casting, great fishing fly rods represent a compelling value to the beginner as well as a smart back-up purchase for the more advance angler. Rods of this quality used to sell for substantially more and we have now added a cordura tube and rod sock to help you better protect your equipment.
