High Hampton Inn - Fly Fishing School

Located at a 3,600 foot elevation in the Blue Ridge Mountains, High Hampton Inn is at the heart of Western North Carolina’s new fly fishing trail. The drastic drop in temperature—at least 15 degrees cooler than our lower-lying neighbors—has inspired the creation of our new 2009 Cool School. A perfect setting for a 4-night, 5-day fly fishing experience with our area’s finest guide, Mr. Alex Bell.

Our Cool School includes accommodations, all meals, and four nights. Instruction geared for any level, guided excursions to the finest trout waters in North Carolina, fly tying and much more.

Alex Bell owns and operates AB’s Fly Fishing Guide Service. Alex was one of the creators of the WNC Fly Fishing Trail. Alex is a long time resident of NC with an intimate knowledge of the areas streams and tributaries.

Hawaii Bonefish Flyfishing Guides

Hawaiian bonefish are monsters compared to other fisheries for the same species. Just like Hawaii is famous for its GRANDER marlin, these behemoth bonefish come in world record sizes.

Knowing when and where to hunt these beautiful fish is 90% of the battle. We specialize in putting our clients in the zone for that shot at the bonefish of a lifetime. Our guides can help you get your casts straight and long, but once you hook that big boy, your on your own to get dragged across the flat like a rag doll. Hold your tip up high and prey it stops before all your gelspum backing is gone. 150yd runs are commonplace with the average bonefish coming in at 8lbs and slobs of over 15lbs are possible if you have the stamina to survive an epic battle.
